Oklahoma
Labor Commissioner
“When safety rules are written in blood,
enforcement is not optional.”
I’m running for Oklahoma Labor Commissioner because the Department of Labor should be something people can trust. I will apply the law equally to everyone, workers and employers alike. Responsible employers will be treated fairly and acknowledged. I believe in fair enforcement, correcting when possible and enforcing the law when violations continue.
For 43 years, I’ve worked on both sides. I’ve seen workers treated unfairly, and I’ve seen good employers taken advantage of. This job isn’t about picking sides. It’s about doing what’s right and making sure the rules are followed the way they’re written.
I’m not running to reinvent the system. I’m running to do the job right, enforce the laws we already have, build on what’s working, and make sure people can trust the system to treat them fairly.
